When we say the word "armchair," we generally mean a personal piece of furniture, so in conversation, it is often heard with the prefix "my." An armchair, as a piece of furniture, certainly reflects your character and taste completely, which is why it occupies the most noticeable and special place in an interior. It is considered representative furniture because it accentuates the style of a space, and for all these reasons, as design has evolved over time, it has become a status symbol. The Blazar is a synonym for a representative, extraordinary, and authentic piece of furniture that makes a strong and imposing impression at first sight. An armchair with LED lighting, an armchair that is also a lounger, because the design of the BLAZAR armchair is subordinated to a high level of comfort, usability, and functionality.
Inspiration from space
It is inspired by and named after distant constellations in the galaxy—Blazars. Blazars are a type of active galaxy, as they have the most variable emission of electromagnetic radiation. Their spiraling, cyclical form inspired us to create a spherical armchair with advanced functions.
What makes BLAZAR truly special?
• BLAZAR features a built-in LED light, which is activated by a touch-sensitive sensor switch.
The light will not only make reading easier in the armchair but will also illuminate your interior even when
you are not sitting in it.
• An ottoman (footrest) that connects to the armchair via a magnet under the fabric, transforming BLAZAR into a recliner.
• A specially shaped, ergonomic cushion that is height-adjustable. The cushion's design follows the radial shape of the armchair, and its 60 cm height supports the back in all torso zones, from the neck to the lumbar region. You can always easily adjust it to the position that suits you best.
All these solutions make BLAZAR a multifunctional and innovative piece of furniture.
We think about everything
We paid attention to the seating angles with and without the stool, the seating height due to its dimensional constraints and built-in materials, and most importantly, the safety regulations mandated by the furniture industry, since the armchair features electronic components.
The entire design with all technical solutions resulted in a total armchair weight of only approx. 70 kg (with wooden legs).
The wooden legs can be disassembled, i.e., separated from the armchair seat using basic tools.
All of this is very important when we talk about transporting and moving the armchair into your interior.
