HISTORY
Telephone benches originated in the mid-20th century as pieces of furniture where one could simultaneously sit and talk on a landline telephone. The expansion in demand for purchasing telephones was accompanied by demand for this type of furniture, which is why they were popularly known as "gossip benches."
REVIVING AN OLD CONCEPT
The PUPIN bench was created with the intention of reviving this concept, but this time assigning it a different function.
It features ambient LED lighting, which is installed on the back, and a drawer.
The ambient light gives it a special function in the interior where it is placed. The light allows the bench, when not in use, to also serve as a useful piece of furniture, by somehow performing the function of an ambient lamp in situations where it is needed.
GOOD PRACTICAL VALUE
The drawer is designed to accommodate magazines or A4-sized papers placed flat. The drawer opening and corners are adapted for easy opening, i.e., an ergonomic hand movement. We provide the option to choose which side you want the dresser to be on, as well as the length of the seat (in the photo, the seat length is 70 cm).

The height of the bench is adapted for writing, as well as for all those who like to lean on their elbows while sitting. Therefore, its purpose is ideal for waiting rooms, business premises, hallways, bedrooms, as well as public spaces.
