Inspired by armless chairs that were produced in the middle of the last century. The ACE armchair got its name from the famous London cafe "Ace Cafe," in front of which the first motorcycle street races were held.
A diamond stitch is not just an ornament
The ACE armchair's stitching style gives it character. The stitching is inspired by racing car seats, and particularly by 1960s motorcycle seats. The "diamond" stitching was used with the aim of minimizing the wrinkling of fabric or leather when sitting, meaning the stitching serves to always maintain the seat's basic shape.
Comfort follows style
Attention is primarily focused on ergonomics, with the aim of being comfortable even during prolonged sitting. The comfort of the chair is generally reflected in the fact that when used, it does not create resistance to the shoulders, and the sitting position and angle do not create pressure in the lower back.
